  2. ABOUT MEDICAL KITS: If you are like most people, you probably think that a medical kit is only necessary for those who are injured or sick. However, this is different. A medical kit is vital for everyone, especially those who have families. It is essential to have supplies on hand in case of an emergency. This PPT will discuss four wound care products that every medical kit needs!

  3. 1) Non-sterile woven Gauze Sponges Cuts, scrapes, and minor wounds benefit from using non- sterile woven gauze sponges. These durable, soft sponges are made of 100% woven cotton and provide superior absorbency, which helps to keep the wound clean and dry. 2) Anti-fungal Cream Cardinal health's anti-fungal cream contains active ingredients like miconazole and zinc oxide that protect against fungi while helping to soothe the affected area.

  4. 3) Elastic Band-Aid Strips Elastic band-aid strips are great for covering minor cuts and scrapes. These bandages come in different sizes, so you can find a size that best fits the wound. They provide a snug fit, stretch easily with movement, and have an adhesive backing, which helps them stay in place. 4) Antiseptic Wipes They’re great for cleaning wounds before you dress them, and they come in handy when there’s no running water available. Antiseptic wipes contain alcohol and chlorhexidine that disinfect the wound and help prevent infection.
