The YMCA is not able to speedily locate information about its members, employees, and other staff that takes part the day camp. Excel is not able to update information easily nor access the data.
The YMCA has experienced increasing demand for programs and the services it offers because due to the economy and YMCAs affordable prices, parents opt to have their children in cheaper reacreational programs. However the technology is not upto date. The YMCA gains its revenue streams from grants and the minimal membership fees, therefore YMCA cannot afford to invest in latest information technology to keep and maintain data efficiently which si the reason why the YMCA is only able to employ basic excel data keeping for their records.
