A major part of SL vehicles are sustainably operated • All track vehicles run on energy from wind, water and bio mass • Next step: less energy consumption • Today approx. 30% of the buses run on renewables • 2011 50% • 2025 100% 75% of all traffic is today operated with renewable fuels www.balticbiogasbus.eu

Some results 2008 • 29% increase of renewable fuels in the bus fleet • Now 64 biogas buses and 424 ethanol buses • Reduced consumption of diesel: 18 million litres/annum • Reduced emissions of fossil CO2: 60 000 000 kg/annum • Reduced emission of CO2 per passenger kilometre: 72,5 grams/pkm • Reduced emissions of NOx and PM www.balticbiogasbus.eu
