  8. CWDC is defining a full and relevant level 3 for the children’s workforce with an Early Years pathway

  9. Establishing Level 3 Qualifications List New Level 3 on the QCF Qualifications Audit Tool CPD

  10. What we have done so far • Reviewed the Early Years and Playwork Database of Qualifications • Established the new Qualifications List for those delivering the EYFS • Established training and development pathways for practitioners whose qualifications are not on the new list

  11. What we are doing now • Communicating to the sector about the Qualifications List • Developing; • Workforce Qualifications Audit Tool • Setting regulations chart • Early Years qualifications funding map

  12. Level 3 • Do you know which settings will not meet regulatory requirements in Sept 2009? • What are you doing to support them? Will the Qualifications Audit tool work for you? • What are the challenges and opportunities of moving to a minimum Level 3 by 2015? • What should CWDC bear in mind when developing the new Level 3 qualification for the children’s workforce with an EY pathway?
