Green Dorm Design for East Residential Halls Hanzhen Lin, Jesse Shaffer, KuralayMuratbekova, and SoyeonJeon Abstract The current design of the East Halls dorm buildings lacks the concept of sustainability and eco-friendliness. This redesign is targeted to improve energy efficiency , residents’ living conditions, and method of waste reduction based on the survey completed by the current East Hall residents.
