  4. The History Session 2008-2009 – for a variety of reasons a small group of six pupils was withdrawn from mainstream Maths. DHT - teacher – other subjects added. Pastoral matters - same DHT. The six became ten – different approach required. Interagency working - community project. Individualised support from some partner agencies. All pupils attended all exams! All recorded positive 16+ destinations.

  9. The History 2 Session 2009 – 2010 – Fairer Scotland Fund. Structured pilot approach was put in place. Seek a management strategy which would make the programme sustainable. Externally monitored and evaluated.

The Pupils 2010-2011 • Are well known • Meet at least two of the Skills Development Scotland • 16+ More Choices, More Chances’ checklist criteria • May already be involved with interagency support through L.I.A.P. process • Complete an initial interview with P.T. Pupil Support • This session we have 25 pupils on our MCMC list who fall into 5 categories • Satellite – Vulnerable – A.S.N. – Behaviour – High Risk

  12. Communication Extended team meetings at start of session agree pupil list and potential support. Planning meetings are held once per term to support weekly delivery. Pupils met ‘people’ not agencies. Pupils leave school with an ‘access’ card detailing contacts.

Partnerships Community Learning Development Team : Princes XL – Youth Achievement Award – Participate –Steps to Work ‘Community Leadership’ programme for S5 and S6 pupils for 2011 - 2012 Deliver target projects linked to any community concern that arises. Support the ‘Getting Ready for Work’ programme. Skills Development Scotland Team: deliver additional support for MCMC pupils through transition. Provide ‘keyworkers’ from March prior to leaving. Support the ‘Getting Ready for Work’ programme.

  14. Police: support delivery of all community projects. Facilitate restorative experiences as appropriate. Support delivery of PSE programme. Health Services: provide on site support Facilitate access to all health services. Home School Link Worker: supports delivery across all partner agencies as appropriate. Vital parental link. Provides transport.

  15. Moray College: offers transition support to MCMC group. Is planning an interagency programme to support pupils for whom full college courses are inappropriate. Work Experience Officer: supports and coordinates ad hoc placements for MCMC pupils throughout the session. Parents/Carers: building capacity
