  1. Local Improvement Plan Welcome to the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) Local Improvement Plan (LIP) site. LIP’s are efforts by school divisions and state operated programs to improve outcomes for students with disabilities with the help of funding from VDOE. This site provides teachers, administrators, and parents with a searchable database of LIP reports from around the state. These reports provide opportunities to learn about successful strategies, share information, develop contacts, and build statewide communities of practice for all those concerned with the quality of education for students with disabilities.   2. How do you want to search for LIP information ? Option 1:You can start your search by choosing from a category on the left. This will take you to a search page containing disability subcategories. Go Option 2: If you know what you are looking for, you can perform a keyword search Keyword: Go Option 3: If you choose Advanced Search, you will have the opportunity to search LIP information by Year, LIP Award, LIP Objectives, School Type, School Division, T/TAC Region. Go Advanced Search :

School Improvement – Keyword Search – SOL ; graduation rate Print E-Mail Download • Choose Section • Check Your VSEIP Goal(s) • Describe Your Baseline Data. • List the Goal(s) That Guide your Plan. • List and Describe the Strategies You to Accomplish Your Goal(s). • Describe your Time Line for Accomplishing Your Goal(s) • How Will You Spend Your School Improvement Plan/Sliver Grant Funds ? • Describe How You Will Evaluate Goal Accomplishment: • All Section 6: Funds (purchased services) will be used to contract personnel to conduct the proposed student-led training activities, assessment activities as described in this application, and data analysis. Additionally, we will use funds (materials and supplies) for training materials, meals/refreshments, instructional reading materials and criterion-referenced tests. Project funds (equipment) will also cover the cost of additional computer server capacity for Web-based teacher and student assessment.
