Tornadoactivity in the UNITED STATES • Tornadoes in USA are veryfrequent. Probably the largest number oftornadoesoccurssoutheast inTexas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida. In this areas are manytornadoeseveryyear and they are a popularplacefor „ hitchhikerstornadoes“ • Other areas of the United States, where tornadoes occur, are areasin the middle of the USA. Most in the State of Oklahoma, north Texas and on theborderof Nebraska, Colorado and Kansas.

  2. TheLargesttornadoes in U.S On March 1925 hit USA thelargesttornado in Americanhistory. Tornado´snameis „ Tornadoofthreecountires“. Tornado hit areas in northeastEllington, Missouri and northwestPrinceton, Indiana. Atthiseventdied 695 people. On October 1927 wasin St. St. Louis, Missouri most destructivetornado of F3 type. Atthiseventdied 28 people.

  3. On August 2007 big tornadowithflashowlnestdamaged 90% houses in Northwood, Frand Forks Country and North Dakota. Fortunately, atthiseventdiedonlyone person. On May 1840 was in UnitedStatesthesecondlargesttornadowithname „TheGreatNatchezTornado“. Thistornado hit plantations. Atthiseventdied 317 people.
