  9. Plug & socket electrical connection • Screw / compression connection (no special tools required) • Field wiring can be performed prior to actuator / valve installation • Once wired, field wiring can be unplugged • Can be utilized as a disconnect or supplied with a disconnect switch • Safe terminals • Optional ring-tongue terminals

  10. Easily to set-up / commission • Easily settable position limit switches • Just a few turns of a slotted shaft • No declutch shaft • Easy torque switch adjustment • Test knobs to check limit & torque switches

  11. User friendly design offers actuator configuration flexibility SA actuators can be furnished as conventional or non-intrusive actuators

  12. SA actuators can be furnished as ‘non-intrusive’ actuators What is a non-intrusive actuator? An actuator whose parameters can be set without gaining access to the inside of the unit. Non-Intrusive

  13. Non-intrusive actuators - 3 ways to set parameters Manipulate local controls Wirelessly via laptop Wirelessly via Windows-based PDA

  14. LE SA or SA/GK Multiturn actuator - Output Drives for many applications B AF A Also available: D / DD / B3D IB3 AK

  15. SG05.1 – 12.1 Quarterturn Actuator • 4 sizes (SG05.1 - SG12.1) • up to 880 ftlbs output torque • capable of ‘open/close’ service and ‘positioning’ or ‘modulating’ service up to 300 starts per hour • variable operating time (single phase) • separate splined coupling • plug & socket electrical connection • double seal available • non-intrusive version available • version available for hazardous locations according to FM, ATEX or CSA standards

  16. SG.1 Quarterturn Actuator • Motor drives a three-stage planetary gear set which drives a worm/worm wheel gear set and finally a splined coupling. Hand wheel drives planetary gear housing then worm and coupling.

  17. AUMA GS worm gearbox models 12 sizes • GS50.3 – GS250.3 • GS315 – GS500 • GS630.3 Output torque up to 498,000 ftlbs Wide variety of primary spur gear reducers • VZ on GS100.3 – GS125.3 • GZ on GS160.3 – GS630.3 GS 50.3 – 125.3 GS 160.3 – 250.3 GS 315 – 500 GS630.3
