  2. The original 1947 PrototypeThe source of the design is questionably from Audi.

  3. Early Production This basic design was used from 1949 on the production 92 and 93 models. This is from a 1959 model 93B.

  4. Model 96 In 1962, the new Model 96 was introduced, along with a new logo. This design was used through 1968, on both the Bullnose, shown here, and the Longnose introduced in 1965.

  5. Late Longnose 96and 99 This logo was introduced in 1969 on the new Model 99 and the redesigned grill on the 96.

  6. Vabis & ScaniaProducers of busses and trucks Vabis was created in1891, Scania started in 1900.

  7. Mergers Scania-Vabis 1911 SAAB Automobile & Scania-Vabis 1969 From 1973 and still used today. Introduced in 1984

  8. … and dissolution 1995 Scania removed … still in use New Scania design General Motors bought a 50% interest in Saab-Scania in 1990 and bought the other 50% of Saab in 2000.

  9. New Beginnings in 2010Purchase by Spyker The original Spijker company began as a coachbuilder in 1880. In 1898, they built the “Golden Coach” still used by the Dutch Royal family for state occasions. In 1903, the company name was changed to Spyker and they continued building automobiles, aircraft and engines until 1920.

  11. New Spyker Logos The new Spyker company purchased the rights to the brand name in 1999. They manufacture very expensive custom-built sports cars.
