INTRODUCTION • Project development – three stages: 1) Pre-development stage 2) Construction stage 3) Post construction stage • Players in construction industry - Architect - Interior Designer - Project Manager - Engineers - Quantity Surveyor - Land Surveyor - Building Surveyor - Landscape Architect - Planner - Etc.

  4. OBJECTIVES • To expose students to the process that involved in project development • To make sure all students know their roles and responsibilities in project development

  5. PROJECT REQUIREMENTS • All students are required to prepare a mind mapping complete with all relevant charts and figures from inception stage until occupation stage based on Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) plan of work 2007 . • The mind mapping should present the process and your role in project development stage. • Use your own creativity to develop the mind mapping. • All mind mapping are should be submitted in one A3 size.

  7. GENERAL PROJECT REQUIREMENTS AND INFORMATION • Individual project; • Handwritten; • Project duration is 1 week, from Monday, October 15th to Monday, 22nd October, 2012; • Students must submit their works to the Studio Master on 22nd October 2012 at 9.00am
