ACHIEVEMENTS AS GOVERNOR 2003/2006 GOAL 2 Basiceducation for all • SUMMARY • Beginningof 4-year term: only 22 • students in College; • 4 years later thisnumberwent • up to 1215 + 2040 = 3.245 students • A 147 foldincrease, correcting a • terriblediscrimination • againstpoorstudentsthat • beforecouldn’tafford to go • tocollege. • UNESCO’s invitation to debate the pedagogic plan in Paris. • Sergipe’s project was praised for the “well succeded strategic improving public school quality in Sergipe that was used as model in other parts of the world”.
