  2. This is Finland’s flag. We put it on some Sundays and on the day it was officially ours. The important day in Finland is Finland`s independence day on the 6th of December. We love Finland!

  3. Halti-fell (Fin. Haltitunturi) Haltiis the highest fell in Finland. It is 1361 m high. It is in North Finland, in Lapland, Fin. Lappi. The Finish people like to wander in Lapland. The nature is very important to us.

  4. Ice hockey worldchampions…. Finland Finland won the ice hockey world champion in 2011. Most popular goal was Mikael Granlund’silmaveivi ‘’airwave’’. The champion was the second for Finland.

  5. Football This is JariLitmanen. He is a football legend in Finland. As you can see he has played in FC Barcelona. He is only Finnish player who has played in Barcelona’s team. JariLitmanen is the most famous football player in Finland.

  6. Golf In Finland golf is very good summer hobby. Many people in Finland exercise for golf. Me too! In Finland are more than 115 00 registered players.

  7. Angy birds is Finnish game which is really popular around the world. The game idea is that the birds try to kill pigs. Rovio hascreatedangrybird. The gamehadalsospecialversions: Angrybirdsseasons, Angrybirdsrio and Angrybirds magic. And by the way, the pigsareSwedish.

  8. This is probably most popular band in Finland ,The Nightwish. It was formed 1996. Sonwriter/keyboardist is TuomasHolopainen. Guitarist EmppuVuorinen and former vocalist is TarjaTurunen. TarjaTurunen was dismissed and AnetteOlzon replaced her. By the way Nightwish is metal band.

  9. Swan (fin. joutsen) Swan is a Finnish national bird. Swans are really big and beautiful. They have long neck and white feathers. They are really accurate of their territory. They can attack to humans if humans go to their territory.

  10. This is one of the Finland’s last wild animals. Lynx is a rare animal and it’s a predator. Lynxes eat small animals and house animals like cats and mouses. Lynxes seem quite the same as cats.

  11. This is a Finnish animal. This is a bear. He is a nice bear. He plays whit his leg. Bear’s size is approximately 130 cm – 210 cm Tämä on suomalainen eläin. Tämä on karhu. Hän on kiva. Hän leikkii jaloillaan. Karhu on noin 130 cm – 210 cm. 

  12. This is Finnish Easter pudding, mämmi. It is eaten on Easter and it is most traditional Finnish food. Some people in Finland hates mämmi and some people love it.

  13. RUISLEIPÄ You maybe don’t know what ruisleipä is. Well don’t worry I can tell you about it. Ruisleipä is black bread it’s kind of sawyer and maybe little bit salty. i like to put on it saltycucumber,cheese and of course butter mmm ( = hope you like it BYE.

  14. This photo is made by the Finnish salty liquorice (Finis salmiakki). It is kind of candy and tastes very good. In the old days salty liquorice was sold in pharmacy medicine for flu. Today it is sold in almoust all stores.

  15. Santa Claus is the Finnish national character. Everyone should know this person who makes many children happy in Christmas. This Finnish character is popular around the world

  16. This is Finnish summer cottage. Finnish people are going to summer cottage every summer.

  17. Winter, (fin. talvi) This foto is from Tuusulanjärvi. That town, where our school is, is nearby this lake. Finnish people go to swimming at winter too. Some of them like to go swimming in to a hole in the ice. I was with my mom when she went to swim and then I took this beautiful foto. 
