In-class Assignment • In the Magazines at the tables find 3 GOOD examples of ads that use photography as the primary visual. • Neatly cut out the 3 photos and paste on to a sheet of white paper. • On the BACK write: • Your names • DESCRIBE the photo. How is the photo shot, manipulated, lit, composed, etc. Write whatever you can see about the photos. • Write about how the text is incorporated. Why do you think the designer chose the spot(s) they did? Is the text bold, subtle, minimal or excessive. Write what you SEE about the TEXT.
