Dear Mom, I'm enjoying my time in Athens! Today, I visited the Athenian Agora, located under the Acropolis, filled with shops where I found many goods to buy, including food and furniture. The currency here is drachmas, and it's bustling with people. I also toured the magnificent Parthenon, built for the goddess Athena by General Pericles. Inside, there's an impressive 30-foot golden statue of Athena, valued at 12 million drachmas. I can’t wait to bring you something special! Love, Jackson.
