  2. Building on ROMA How Texas is helping the statewide CSBG network to enhance their performance measurement systems and examine their impact through: • Certified Trainers • Targeted Technical Assistance • Focus on data collection and analysis to measure impact of activities

UP WITH ROMA! • Statewide Training • Janet Carl under contract to provide six trainings for Texas CSBG network • Community Affairs Division • Laura White – Certified ROMA Trainer since 2004, in progress to Master ROMA Trainer • Laura Saintey – Certified ROMA Candidate; final 9/27 • Texas Association of Community Action Agencies • Three Certified ROMA Candidates from within state CSBG provider agencies; final 10/3 All candidate practice sessions were to the network; a great primer!

Targeted Technical Assistance Knowledgeable Staff • Aurora Carvajal – 20 years CSBG experience; T&TA provider • Rita Gonzales-Garza – 19 years CSBG experience, T&TA provider • Laura White – 17 years CSBG experience T&TA Provided • Board-level ROMA concepts • Focus on reporting: NPIs, national survey data • Goal/target setting (CAP planning) • Analyzing outputs/outcomes • Managing results
