It applies the three pillars of accreditation-high standards, continuous improvement, and quality assurance-to the entire district to ensure alignment and support between and among the district and its schools. The process provides the district and all its schools with a comprehensive framework for continually improving student achievement.

  21. Learning is the Work The answer to the knowing and doing problem is deceptively simple: embed more of the process of acquiring new knowledge in the actual doing of the task and less in the formal training. If you do it then you know it.
