Female lays 1-5 eggs/day • Female lays 200-500 in her lifetime • Gestation period is 2 weeks • Adults live -1 year with no blood meal • Nymphs live – 3 months without a blood meal • Leave dark fecal spots behind • Will travel 6+ meters or 20+ feet /night to feed • Will feed for 5-10 minutes/spot • No evidence that transmit diseases More Bedbug Facts
