National Mission & Values • The mission of the sorority: “to inspire the personal development of each sister and perpetuate the advancement of womanhood.” • “Phi Sigma Sigma is a dynamic sisterhood of powerful women fostering uncompromising principles, igniting positive change, and embracing individuality.”

  3. Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority was founded as a sorority that would be open to all women of character regardless of background and committed to sisterhood, scholarship and philanthropy

  4. Sorority Symbols & History • Flower: American Beauty Rose • Motto Diokete Hupsala – Aim High • Colors: King Blue & Gold • Stone: Sapphire • The Sphinx is the national symbol of Phi Sigma Sigma

  5. Founded November 26th 1913 at Hunter College, New York City Twin ideals “The brotherhood of man and the alleviation of the world's pain.” Founding Members

The Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation was founded to provide a greater focus to the philanthropic efforts of the sorority. • The National Kidney Foundation is the official philanthropic cause of Phi Sigma Sigma National Kidney Foundation logo, trademark National Kidney Foundation, Inc.; Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation property of Phi sigma Sigma Inc.

  7. Theta Mu Chapter • Theta Mu Chapter was founded on December 3rd 1994 • Philanthropy causes for the chapter include Rocktoberfest, Volunteering at local elementary schools, and canned food drives.

  8. Theta Mu chapter is one of the most illustrious Greek letter organizations at CSU Stanislaus • The chapter is consistently active in the campus community
