Rddr is an advanced utility designed for high-performance raw-device dump and restore operations on Unix systems. Ideal for databases utilizing raw devices, it enables total server independence with a simple command line interface. Support for dumping and restoring character special device files, LSM volumes, and TruCluster DRDs is included. Users can dump to or restore from tape subsystems or save-set files on disk, and perform disk-to-disk copies at high speeds limited only by the available devices. Compatible with Compaq Tru64 Unix and other Unix variants.
