  13. 0 Two type faces, or fonts, provide about enough variety for most presentations. • Serif faces, like Times New Roman, above, are thought to let the eye flow more quickly over the words. • San serif faces, like Helvetica, have a clean modern look.

  14. Other Presentation Tips • Keep it simple; when in doubt, do without. • Use the fewest words possible; distill your message to its essence. Rule of 6: no more than 6 lines, no more than 6 words per line. • Don’t read your visual aids, your audience can--elaborate, supplement, expand, enrich.

  15. Other Presentation Tips (cont.) • Coordinate audio and visual. • Watch those sound effects! • Fit the type size to your format and size of room. Make sure the back row can see it. No more than 3 font sizes on one visual. • Be consistent with your slides.
