Exploring Twitter in Teacher Training: Benefits and Challenges

This study from the Regional Institute of English in Chandigarh, India examines the use of Twitter in a teaching methodology course. The survey results from 36 teacher trainees highlight the fun and annoying aspects of Twitter in the classroom. Advantages include enthusiastic student responses, reflection time, negotiation of meaning, and improved confidence. The trainees continue to use Twitter to stay connected and enhance learning experiences.
