RED BACK SPIDER • The red back spider is also known as the red striped spider. • It induces severe pain when bitten. • It is the most famous Australian spider! • Thousands of people have been bitten but only 20% of the victims actually needed treatment. • Young children are the ones who get the most severe cases when bitten.

Salt water croc • The largest of its kind can grow up to 18ft. • They are mostly found in northern Australia . • They can take down an adult water buffalo and have attacked many people!! • It is usually camouflaged both underwater and on dry land. • Its most powerful attack is the death roll! • It consists of grabbing its prey and rolling powerfully until it dies.

  7. TAIPAN • The Taipan is a large fast and highly venomous snake. • The Taipan has the most toxic venom out of all species world wide. • The snake is usually found in the far north of Australia, Queensland, the northern territory and west Australia .

  9. BLUE RING OCTOPUS • The blue ring octopus is one of the most toxic sea creatures in the world! Even though it’s the size of a golf ball there is no cure for its very powerful venom!! • Its found in the coast of Australia.

  11. THE GREAT WHITE SHARK • The great white shark is also known as the white death. • And is known as the worlds largest predatory fish!! • They are mainly in the southern coasts.

  13. Stone fish • The stone fish is known as the most venomous fish. • It lives on the bottom of the reefs. • It lives above the Tropic of Capricorn but can be found in the Queensland barrier reef.
