What IS Plus 1? Plus 1 is the second semester class for the ClaytonArts Academy juniors. In this class, we learn - how to write résumés, cover letters, project plans - proper speech etiquette - how to present ourselves professionally on and off campus In this class, we are responsible for two quarter long projects or one semester long project. Our projects MUST be on campus, with the help of a mentor.
The Job of the Mentor • The mentor is YOU! It can (and must be) any faculty member on Clayton Valley’s campus. • The job of the mentor is to supply a junior with a project! Communicate with your junior throughout the project to make sure you are happy with your project. At the end of the quarter or semester, the mentor is required to write a Letter of Evaluation about the project.
