  1. EATING HABITS- timetable of an ordinary day- Usually Italian pupils have breakfast and dinner at home, and lunch and snack at school.

  2. h. 7.30 a.m. wake up!h. 7.45 a.m. BREAKFAST Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Usually pupils have orange juice, hot milk with chocolate, biscuits, rusks with jam or brioches.

  3. h. 10.20 a.m. a break at school Pupils and teachers have 20 minutes to have a snack. In our school there’s a project about healthy snack: • Fat sweets, slides of pizza and soft drinks are forbidden. • On Tuesdays it’s compulsory to have fruit or vegetables. • On Fridays it’s compulsory to have dairyproducts as yogurt, milk or cheese.

  4. h. 12.30 a.m. lunch In our school there’s a kitchen, where cooks prepare healthy food controlled by a nutritionist. Usually we have: • Pasta with tomato sauce or rice • Steak or eggs or cheese with salad or other kind of greens • Fruit as apples, tangerines, oranges or pears .

  5. h. 16.30 p.m.OUT FROM SCHOOL!When pupils come back home, they have a little snack. A fruit, or a little sandwich with ham or cheese, or a piece of cake.

  6. h. 19.30 p.m. DINNER Dinner is lighter than lunch… We have often a noodle-soup or rice, then meat with boiled vegetables or sausages. The dinner always ends with fruit.
