  14. REFLECTION I feel that this class has really helped me with my communication in the sense of public speaking. I feel more confident in the aspect that I am able to stand up in front of a group of people and present an idea that they either are interested in, never heard of, or completely disagree with and still deliver an effective speech. The reading in this class has given me the tools to help control my anxiety levels when it comes to public speaking. The class has also given me the tools to put together any type of speech that I will ever need to give. over the course of this semester we have given five different speeches that were all organized, prepared, and delivered all on our own. Throughout this course there are many things that I have learned about my self (such as nervous corks) and things I have learned about from other students in the class. This class will be able to help me in my career development where ever that may take me.
