CROFTING REGISTER • The Crofting Reform (Scotland) Act 2010 requires the establishment and maintenance of a public Register containing crofts, common grazings and land held runrig. • The new Crofting Register will be held by the Keeper of the Registers of Scotland (RoS). • Crofting Register open November 2012

  4. STAKEHOLDERS ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES SCOTTISH MINISTERS • Scottish Ministers have undertaken to meet the costs of first registration of common grazings and land held runrig CROFTING COMMISSION • Responsible for the issuing and the submitting of registration applications for common grazings and land held runrig RoS • Keeper of the new Crofting Register SHAREHOLDERS/GRAZING COMMITTEES • Agreement of common grazing boundaries and shareholders.

  5. STAKEHOLDERS ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES OWNERS • Common grazing boundary and shareholders agreement SGRPID • Provisionof FIS mapping data on common grazings • Provision of information in relation to common grazings owned by the Scottish Ministers SLC • Provision of resumptions plans
