  2. Definition of Vegetarianism • Vegetarianism- encompasses the practice of following a plant base diet

  3. Thesis • Vegetarianism is a healthy and moral way of dieting, it decreases the amount of pollution and decreases the amount of animal cruelty; although it’s a valuable alternative, it is portrayed as a tree-hugging bland lifestyle.

  4. Changing Lifestyle • A 70 year old man got arrested who was a vegetarian for 42 years. He refused to eat anything that he did not know that was animal free. While in jail he lost 50 pounds only in 99 days. • If it was a religious belief they would of given him the food he wanted.

  5. Cupcake Wars • 22 year old Vegan chef, Chloe Coscarelli, was on a TV show called “Cupcake Wars”. She was involved in a competition against 3 high-end bakers of traditional cupcakes. • The goal is to produce the most satisfying cupcakes to the judges. • Her Vegan cupcakes tasted better than all the others.

  6. Veggie Burgers “Gone are the days, it seems, when the veggie burger was almost a source of shame” Restaurants are beginning to introduce veggie burgers on their menus because of the sure satisfaction of the taste.
