  3. Purpose & Responsibilities • Eliminate Sexual Assaults through awareness, training, education, victim advocacy, response, reporting and responsibility. • Commanders, Supervisors, and Managers at all levels are responsible for the effective implementation of the SAPR program and policy.

  4. Prevention and Intervention • Positive work environment free of discrimination and harassment • Prevention of sexual harassment policy training • Awareness and response to gender based discrimination and harassment practices • Violence in the workplace policy and training requirements

Reporting Options Restricted Report • Victim’s choice • Confidential Sources • SARC • Victim Advocate • Chaplain • HCP • Will not trigger a mandatory investigation • Must be in military status • No Commander Actions • Privacy is protected • Receive medical care, counseling, and VA support Unrestricted Report • Victim’s choice • Provide Information • Any of the 4 • CID Investigation • JAG • An investigation is triggered • Actions: Military Protection Order, Separation, Criminal Investigation • Offender held accountable • Receive medical care, counseling, and VA support
