This study aims to determine energy consumption of a network device (router) based on data traffic. By altering data traffic type and parameters, we aim to understand energy usage better. The methodology involves bench testing with a specific architecture. The expected results include precise information on the energy consumption of the network equipment.

Problema: Determinar o consumo de energia de um equipamento de rede (roteador) com base no tráfego de dados que ele manipula. • Hipótese: Ao se alterar o tipo e/ou parâmetros específicos desse tráfego de dados, o equipamento consumirá mais ou menos energia. • Objetivo: Caracterizar de forma mais precisa o consumo de energia de um equipamento de rede.

  2. Metodogia: Teste de bancada com base na seguinte arquitetura: • Resultadosesperados: Espero obter toda informação de consumo de um determinado equipamento de rede.
