Introducing MsStenning The story of my life so far…….
My autobiography…. • I was born in September many many years ago…. • I lived in a country town in Victoria for one year and then my whole family moved to Melbourne….
Continued… • I have two brothers and one sister and four nieces and three nephews. • After I finished school I went to uni and studied media. • When I left university I worked in a bar while I looked for a full time job. I got a job in a film production company doing a bit of everything. Answering the phone, organising film shoots, learning about editing film, and even making the tea and coffee!!
Continued… • After that job, I worked at Channel Seven as a videotape editor. That was a great job and I was one of a small group of girls working in that department. I got to work on lots of different shows like Steve Vizard, and lots of sport like AFL football, Australian Open Tennis, swimming, diving, basketball and rugby. • After that I decided to become a librarian and so had to go back to school and study….. YUK….
Continued… • So I studied for two years part time while I still worked at Channel Seven. Then I graduated as a librarian TA DAH……. • I worked in lots of places before I started at Westall….
Continued... • One of the places I worked was at the Victoria College of the Arts where students study music, dance, art, movie making, theatre and lots of others skills. • Some of the students I meet are now working as musicians and actors
Continued…. • While I was studying and working and studying again!! I also got married and had three children. I had three sons who are now teenagers.
Continued…. • I also have two gorgeous dogs – Molly and Scruffy who love to go for walks and chase balls. They are Labradoodles. A cross Between a Poodle and a Labrador. CUTE !!
Continued… • After many years of working as a Librarian I decided to return to study. • I went back to uni (again!!) and qualified to be a teacher. • And here I am…..I work at Westall as a teacher AND a librarian. • My hobbies are rowing, tap dancing, cycling and walking my dogs. • I also like to watch movies and read (surprise, surprise!!)
Continued… • I have also travelled a lot and as a family we have lived overseas in Denmark, the Netherlands and Geneva. • That was a really great experience and we have lots of memories of our time overseas…
Continued… • I have travelled to lots of places. Two of my favourites are: Sri Lanka and Nepal where I saw Mount Everest – for real!! It was amazing….. That’s where I was
Continued… • One day I would love to go to New York and see where they filmed Seinfeld and The Sopranos ( Two of my favourite TV shows). Me – One day!!!
