  1. How a 19-year-old boy sees Jai Kyeong Kim Feb. 20th 1991Hebron Academy

  2. The Moment How can I be described? From what I have done in the past or from what I will be doing in the future? Probably Both. But, who I really am can be seen when I capture myself in this moment. I am at the cross section of my past and future

  3. Same Root Two Trees There is something, hollowness, inside my heart. Perhaps coming from the gap of my two identities: Korean and international student. But I will not separate them. I will make branches of harmony.

  4. Life is good only when it is magical and musical, a perfect timing and consent, and when we do not anatomize it.... You must hear the bird's song without attempting to render it into nouns and verbs. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

  5. Seek help Jai Kim Nothing is stable Nothing is permanent But“the present”, although the time disappears, will be existing Have you ever thought how painful the present could be? Keep thinking Remain modest Timelessly dream, Keep seeking for the wisdom and the truth But when you are blocked, Think that there is nothing you can truly possess. When you truly understand this, Then, please, please, share your life to those in painful present. Imagine how blissful their present can be.

  6. Snow …..There are full of harmonies. In Hebron, from enormous harmony of light and shadow, sky and earth, nature and civilization through sports and education, and faculties and students well exist, making picturesque scenes and beautiful sound.  In dinner time, when natural darkness is filled up outside while artificial light prohibits darkness to come inside, when I sit with my friends and am dissolved as a group, I hear personal “Hebronian” stories, the stories of failures and overcomes. From “I will fail the class, I am totally not ready for the test!” to “I am getting A’s this term.”, I hear the “balanced” stories. If I relax a little bit from business, I can feel the surrounding of harmonies, a beautiful one.

  7. Gloomy Night at Hebron Crosswalk in dawn

  8. Gloomy Day Jai Kim In the starry night, I look up at the sky, Laying down on the field. I have no time to look back. I have no need to look back. All the beauties surround me. I am filled I am satisfied I am happy The smell of night wind touches my nose The ray of moonlight looks at my eyes The sound of weaving grass talks to my ears Wind blows, awakening, provoking. Now, I have enough time to recall And I need to wail. Gushing out with emotions, My heart is empty, Shouting and echoing in yearning. All the memories I made, All the happiness I felt, My tears –without my permission – slowly cover my face. In the dismal night, Stars disappear And the moon hides behind the trees The hazy dawn approaches With the fair sunlight.

  9. Sky It is the place where magnificent colors blend together. It is the place where “artificial” and “natural” create a harmony. It is the place where grass field is widely opened out. It is the place where trees are sparsely erected. And, it is the place where we can perceive the part of true nature. I am the midst of the connection to the real world and imagery world. I hear, smell, and see the realism, but at the same time I hear, smell, and see idealism. I hear a sound of industrialization, but at the same time I hear the sound of wind, peacefulness, and calmness. I smell the engine oil, but at the same time I smell the breeze of sunlight, beauty, and nature itself. I see what no one sees, and I see what everyone sees. I am at the place where two different ideas coexist.

  10. If your daily life seems poor, do not blame it; blame yourself that you are not poet enough to call forth its riches; for the Creator, there is no poverty. -Rainer Maria Rilke

  11. Time to go out and explore the 20’s
