Introduction In 1971, the group of enthusiasts, on board of therustyboatPhilisCormac, sailedfrom Vancouver to protest againstnucleartestsconducted by the U.S. Government on the Island of Aleutian. The first, spontaneoustrip was not a resoundingsuccess, however, hascreatedthefoundations of the Greenpeace organisation, whichworkscurrently(in morethan 40 countries) to eliminatethegreatestthreatsthe environment. One of the most famousships of thisorganisation was ‘RainbowWarrior‘ intheyears of 1978-85. AlthoughcurrentlyGeenpeaceisconsidered to be an extremeorganization, many of itsstatutoryobjectives we lovedones. That'swhy we havetakenthebestvalue of it and we havecreatedthegame„RAINBOWSAILORS”. Preschoolersbecomethecrew of theship. ThecrewisaimedatsavingEarthfromthedangersposed by theprogress of civilization.

Tamplate of thegame • The Name of the game - „RAINBOW SAILORS” • Participants/number- 5 • Educational purpose-Theevolution of ecologicalstanadard of children, usingtermsfrom IT ECO Dictionary and the development of gross motor skills. Child: • Meetsatleast 10 concepts associated withecology • Meetsenvironmentalrisks • Recognisesnumbersintherangefrom 1 to 5 and counts to 5 • Developsitsgross motor skills • Keepsthebalance on thebalancebeam • Works in one Group

  5. Rulesofthe game • Childrenaredividedintoteams of 5. Children enter theship 'RainbowSailors ‘ usinggangboard – a balancebeam. As soon as childrengetintotheshiptheybecome a crew of ecologistswhoneed to savethethreatenedwildlife of our planet - theEarth.

  6. Rulesofthe game • Childrenusing a fishing rod with magnet anglecardsnumberedfrom 1 to 5. Eachnumberrepresents a differenttask. Thenteacherreads a description of thecommand to be done.

  7. Rulesofthe game • Everytaskisperformed by a whole team in a specified period of time. Ifthecommandis to go ashorechildrenmustgetofftheshipusingtheladder and then go acrossthegangboard (a balancebeam).

  8. Rulesofthe game • Ifthecommandisconnectedwiththeseachildrenmustslideintothe „water”.

  9. Rulesofthe game • Childrenreceive 4 pointsifthetaskisdoneproperly, 2 pointsifitisdoneonlypartly, 0 point for failure to complete a task. Each team cangainmaximum20 pointsfor theentiregame. Whenthegameisoverchildrenget a badge and thetitle of: 1. ‘SUPERECOLOGIST’ (if one team gets 15-20 points), 2. ‘ECOLOGIST’ (for 9-14 points), 3. ‘RECRUIT’ (for 0-8 points)

  10. Examples of tasks :nr„1” • Youhavearrived to thecoast of Africa. Many peopleherearerunning out of pure, available for drinkingwater. Youhave 5 minutes to fullfilYourtask and go back to Yourship.

  14. Examples of tasks: nr „5” • Youmeet great driftingisland of garbage on the Pacific Ocean . Diveintotheseawaves and bringthelargestnumber of garbageup and thensegragatethemintheappropriatecontainers. On theexecution of thetaskyouhave 5 minutes.
