  2. HOW TO BE RESPONSIBLE • When you agree to do something, do it. • Don't make excuses or blame others for what you do • Take care of your own things and surroundings. • Be trustworthy. • Always use your head and make good choices • Don't put things off.

  3. HOW TO BE CARING Be Caring • Treat people with kindness and generosity. • Help people in need. • Be sensitive to people's feelings. • Never be mean or hurtful. • Do your share to make your school, your community, and the world a better place. • Help take care of the environment.

  4. HOW TO BE SAFE • Follow instructions and listen to advice. • Tell someone if you see something dangerous. • Be proud of who you are. It is good to be individual. • Be assertive – say “No!” if something scares you. Go straight to a teacher or member of staff. • Talk to one of your network of friends if you are worried. • Don’t hit out if you are angry.
