The Process • Committee was formed • RFPs were solicited • Members were engaged to help score RFPs • Shortlist of three (Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua) presented at “Big Reveal” October 2011 • Electronic voting process – Honduras selected
Funding • Sunrise Foundation ($3,000) • Rotary Charities Challenge Grant ($3,000) • Rotary District 6290 Designated Funds ($6,000) • Rotary Club of Plymouth, MI ($5,000) • Rotary Club of Usula ($2,000) • District 4250, Honduras ($3,000) $22,000 on hand seeking $15,500 TRF match
