Accident Prevention • Location: Saddle Creek Corporation 105 Eagle Vista Parkway Atlanta, GA 30336 • Problem: • Trailers being spotted at this location are dropped on the dock, too tight against the dock bumpers. • When the trailer is dropped, the rear of the trailer raises and causes the dock to break.

Solution • Back the trailer to the dock until it makes contact with the dock bumper. • Roll forward 1” to 3”. • This will create a gap between the trailer and the dock. • When the trailer is dropped, it will not be in contact with the dock to cause damage. • The gap between the trailer and dock is small enough not to cause any safety issues with the dock workers.

  5. Keep 1” to 3” Gap Trailer Not Touching Safe Gap Between Dock & Trailer

  6. No More Dock Damage This Gap Will Prevent Dock Damage
