  3. Background: 16 – 18 Apprenticeships Sunderland City Council is looking to appoint suitably experienced contractors for the Provision of 16-18 Apprenticeships. . The contract will be divided into the following lots: Lot 1 – ICT, including IT Application Specialist and IT Software, Web and Telecoms Professional. Lot 2 – Engineering. Lot 3 – Apprenticeships to support the low carbon economy and the environment. Background

  4. We envisage Lots 1 and 2 will consist of 8 suppliers and a mini competition will be run for each piece of work per lot following tender award, unless tendered rates are available. For Lot 3 there will be one supplier appointed. For Lot 4 we envisage 6 suppliers which will be ranked with the option of running a mini competition at the Council’s discretion throughout the life of the framework.   6. PQQ Instructions • Pay full attention to information contained in instructions especially: • Submission date – 12.00 noon 30th May 2014 • Evaluation of Questionnaires Tender Documentation

Pre Qualification Questionnaire (1) All sections must be fully completed Section A – Organisation Profile - for information purposes only Section B – Grounds for exclusion – PASS / FAIL Section C – Health and Safety - PASS / FAIL Section D - Equality and Diversity – PASS/FAIL Section E - Technical Capacity – Scored as per PQQ Section F – References Section G – Quality Management Section H – Social and Economic Section I – Employment of Staff Section J – Insurance – PASS / FAIL - Suppliers must maintain minimum levels of insurance throughout the life of the contract Section K - Undertaking Tender Documentation

Pre QualificationQuestionnaire (2) • All sections must be fully completed • Section G – Technical Capacity– Scored • E1 – Experience and Contract examples (60 marks) • Answer all questions (E1.1 to E1.7) • Provide details of comparable contracts demonstrating your relevant experience. • Read the scoring rationale and answer accordingly Tender Documentation

How to Submit a Compliant Questionnaire • Read fully the instructions document and ensure you return any • required documentation. • Ensure that you have completed all sections of the Pre Qualification Questionnaire • When providing evidence of contracts of similar size and nature please complete all sections and ensure that they relate to past works How to Submit a Compliant Questionnaire

Questions • We will take questions today, any responses may be published as a public response on the portal. • If you have any questions during the tender process these must be asked through the NEPO portal • Do not leave questions until the last minute • If there is anything you are unsure about it is best to ask, if you make an assumption and that assumption is wrong you risk making your bid non compliant. • We cannot enter into discussions once the pre qualification period is closed apart from seeking clarifications.
