  2. Day One • Math – estimation, sampling, uncertainty • Science – observation, classification • Technology – basic Windows and Word techniques.

  4. Windows Explorer Windows Explorer Views Moving from folder to folder Sorting folders Collapsing and expanding folders Selecting files Moving, copying, and deleting files

Ctrl-C - copy Ctrl-V - paste Ctrl-X - cut Ctrl-A – select all Ctrl-S – save Ctrl–W – close file Alt-F4 – close program Ctrl-Z – undo (works even when the edit/undo is unavailable) Ctrl-Y – redo Ctrl-F – find Alt+Tab – switches between open applications. Hold down tab to choose and tab to desired file. Just click Alt + Tab to switch back and forth between most recent files. Shortcut Keys to memorize

  10. Technology Activity • Go to the following webpage: http://faculty.msmc.edu/markel Select Course Information and MST1010 Select Class Files and click on the Word Activity File. Save it to your disk and make the changes indicated in the handout given.
