This study focuses on developing advanced algorithms for retrieving water vapor profiles using the SAPHIR instrument onboard Megha-Tropiques satellite. Emphasis is on integrating data fusion techniques for multiple instrument retrievals, analyzing the observing system tools, and assessing the information content from satellite observations to improve atmospheric observation accuracy and impact forecasting.
