  2. Demos gave us the STRATEGY: • Send the men of the chapters out to the people! Get the people saved, delivered, healed outsidethe chapter. Then bring them into the chapter to be transformed into fishers of men. • Don’t rely on bringing the people into our meetings ALONE to get the job done. • Demos’ last words to the fellowship: “Break the mold and set men free!” Demos was referring to the mold of chapters that just hold meetings where sometimes no unsaved persons come and setting our members free to go and take Jesus into the marketplace with commitment and conviction.

The Fire Team Strategy • Fire Team approach – Taking our story to a target audience, very much like the MPO but over a short time, using the Voice as a tool: (Unlike the MPO, no food is served, it takes a shorter time, virtually no cost) • The Fire Team Strategy could be used on occasions like: Airlifts, Land-lifts ,City Storms, Conventions, NGMs etc • Hospitals • Offices • Parliament, Metro, Municipal, District Assemblies etc • Ministries • Military, Police, Prisons, Immigration etc • Universities • The Market Place generally, etc

  4. The Keys of The Fire Team • Fervent Prayer • Commitment, Availability, Readiness to GO, MOVE • Short Testimonies (5-10minutes by 1 or 2 members) • Distribute Voice Magazines alongside • Invitation to the nearest FGBMFI activity or chapter • Prepares Ground For Subsequent Invitations

Modalities of Fire Teams • Identify a location(s) • Make necessary contacts • Obtain all necessary approvals • Fix dates • Mobilise the men • Work out the programme • Make materials available – membership forms, attendance sheets, Decision cards, Voice magazines • No meals involved • Shorter time than MPOs – could be 20 – 30 minutes • Sometimes you may not even need any approvals

Scenario - Fire Team to XYZ Ltd • Introduce FGBMFI – to explain the visit very briefly • Tell your stories (1 or 2 to share short testimonies) • Altar call, Prayers (for the men & the business) • Audience is advised on locations of local chapters, meeting days and times • Contacts numbers or business cards could be given out

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? • Voluntary • All Voice & Prayer Directors must be involved • All available hands at the Programme, in your Region, Zones, Chapters and members . • By seeking for outlets to visit and share testimonies • Col 4:5 – “Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time”

The Great Commission • It is a COMMAND TO “GO” as Christ’s ambassadors • Mat 9:35-38 - …fainted, scattered, without a shepherd .. • 2 Cor 5:20 – …..Christ’s ambassadors, God making His appeal to the world through us …….. • Non-performing government ambassadors are RE-CALLED back home and REPLACED • How about our Great God and Saviour Jesus Christ?

Food For Thought • If we must fulfill our calling as members of this fellowship, • If we must achieve the 7 X 4 target we have set for our selves by the end of 2018, • Then MPOs, Fire Team operations must be options we must seriously consider at our various programmes at all levels: National, Regional, Zonal & Chapter and during operations like Air-lifts, Land-lifts, City Storms, Conventions etc

  10. From “The Vision Intensified” • It is time to GET OUR EYES OFF THE PAST! It is time to stop talking about how much we have accomplished, and start prayerfully seeking God on WHAT HE WANTS TO DO NOW and WHAT HE WANTS FOR THE FUTURE! • GOD ALONE CAN CHANGE OUR WORLD – all we can do is prepare and avail ourselves to serve as God’s vessels

  11. OUR OPPORTUNITIES • Growth in membership • Expanded influence of the Fellowship in that community • Opportunity for Field representatives to strengthen weak chapters from the harvest • FRs can take advantage and birth new chapters

  12. PRAYER POINT • In this meeting let us sincerely call upon God to release A NEW WAVE OF REVIVAL into our individual lives and our fellowship at all levels. • HE WILL COME IN! YES, HE WILL COME IN! • WE’LL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN! • God bless you!

MPO OUTREACHES • Anchored on the Fishing Chapter Model • Time – 60 minutes maximum • Testimony based – Sharp delivery • Business-like – No singing and depending on the venue, “His Banner Over us is Love” may not be necessary. • PTL (NOT NECESSARY. IT WILL NOT WIN SOULS). • Check List (All Materials) • Attendance Register • Vision format • Membership Format • Program Format • Voice Magazines • Membership forms • NTYRC • Our Chapter Welcomes you • Prayer Card

SUCCESS FACTORS FOR MPO • MCEES – Business like flow • Meals must be coordinated and should be served on time. • (Knowing how to handle challenges of meals) • Sloppy service from restaurant • Late comers. • Knowing how to deal with an empty house (Impromptu Invitations) • Invitations, Invitation, Invitation??? • Promote the meeting as a gathering of businessmen. • Statistics & Reporting – Ensure that all First Timers are captured (Our chapter welcomes you, Attendance list Decision Cards) • Integrated Follow-up: Be ready with the follow-up Invitation Card for next meeting.

  15. FIRE TEAMS TO LOOK FOR LOCATIONS ----Take advantage of Conventions, NGMs, Men’s Advance etc and the presence of our members in a city, municipality etc and approach organisations who may be excited to allow some of our members and key Christian Businessmen etc SPEAK TO THEIR STAFF----Schools/Universities to speak to staff and students on topical matters. Government Institutions To empower staff through Capacity Building and use such opportunities to reach out TESTIMONY OFSPEAKER will come after the secular talks (Remember we are professionals, business men etc and more importantly christians with practical stories to tell)
