  10. If we are not ready to produce even a part of any eventual new generation killer app… • develop useful 2G applications

  14. If we want to, at least, dabble on any eventual new generation killer app, we should make ourselves ready as soon as possible.

  15. If there are people here who can sink their teeth in any eventual new generation killer app, they should help others one way or another.

  16. It is time to establish the Institute for Advanced Mobile Communications • spearheaded by members of the industry and academe

  20. The “crucible” for design and implementation of Industry/Academe R&D ideas • Research can be pursued by industry & academic partners • A pool of engineers/academics can be identified

  21. The Korean CDMA Development Model or China’s insistence on its TDD version can be replicated when there is a pool of experts.
