  1. English Language Development Standards for California Public Schools: Kindergarten Through Grade Twelve Assistant Superintendents and Directors of Curriculum Meeting March 30, 2012

Assembly Bill 124 • Requires the SSPI in consultation with the State Board of Education (SBE) to update, revise, and align the state’s current English Language Development (ELD) standards by grade level to the state’s English Language Arts (ELA) standards • Directs the SSPI to complete a draft revision of ELD standards for SBE review no later than August 31, 2012
