  2. Magnavox Odyssey(Brown Box) • The first home system was develop by Ralph Baer and his associates. Develop started 1966 and in 1968 they final had they Magnavox Odyssey Completed. They had to fix something's and then in 1972 they released the Magnavox Odyssey. The Odyssey used cartridges that mainly consisted of jumpers that enabled various switches inside the unit. That provided the ability to use several games on this system.

  3. video entertainment system (VES) • The VES was released in 1976.The VES was the first system to use a key broad for the controllers. It sold over 250,000 of them at the price of $170.00. The VES was made by Fairchild semiconductor.

  4. Nintendo NES • The NES was released by Nintendo in North American in 1985, In Europe during 1986 and Australia in 1987. The NES broke record's for selling the most Game’s during the 1983 Video game crash.

  5. SEGA GENESIS • The saga genesis was released in Aug 14 1989. It sold over 40.9 million of them. The genesis was also called the Sega mega drive. There were add-ons that you could put on the console like the Sega CD or the Sega 32X.

  6. PLAY STATION • The Play Station was created by Sony computer Entertainment. The brand was first introduced on December 3 1994 in Japan. The Play Station was the first console to ship out over a million units after its initial launch.

  7. Nintendo 64 • The Nintendo 64 was released in September 29 1996. It sold 32.9 million worldwide with the price of $200 dollars. The Nintendo 64 came with different colors and sizes for the controller.

  8. Play Station 2 • The Play Station 2 was manufacture by Sony as part of the Play Station series. First released on March 4, 2000 in Japan and then was release on October 26, 2000 in North America. It sold over 154 Million units.

  9. Xbox • The Xbox was released on Nov 15 2001 The Xbox has sold 24 million worldwide. The Xbox was the very first system to have online mode where you can play with people around the world. The Xbox had the most buttons of all time.

  10. Xbox 360 • The Xbox 360 is the second video game console developed by and produced for Microsoft. The 360 was unveiled on MTV May 12,2005. The Xbox sold over 67 million units worldwide.

  11. Play Station 3 • The play station 3 was released in Nov 11 2006 they sold 63.9 million of them worldwide the play station was the seventh generation console and it was revealed on may 16,2005.

  12. WII • The Wii is a home Video Game Console released by Nintendo on November 19,2006. The WII sold 96 million units worldwide. Wii leads the generation over the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in worldwide sales at 97 million.
