CAsI and the CAV - Today • CAsI Report Card includes 27 topics • 10 are ACO input • 17 come from IOA’s CAV report • Determination of overall rating: • All 27 positive = Outstanding • 22-26 positive = Successful • <22 positive = Unsuccessful
CAsI and the CAV – Tomorrow • Scheduled implementation - Summer 2007 • 26 evaluation topics • Some differ from current CAsI topics • 8 are ACO input - 18 from CAV • More complex determination of overall rating • Not punitive • Opportunity to improve
NEW Report Card – Mandatory Elements If all Critical Elements are met: failure in one (1) item in Mandatory Elements will result in a VERY GOOD rating; failure in any two (2) or three (3) items from this section will result in a SATISFACTORY rating; failure to meet four (4) or more items in Category 2 will result in a MARGINAL rating.
