Current Situation Programme supports • Course program (8-12 courses p.a.) focus on methods and research skills • free for SSPH+ students • fees for other students • each course evaluated • Program coordination /administration (40%) based on internal electronic database • Support for SSPH+ students for external course fees (up to 5’000 during PhD studies) • Financial contributions until 2014 • 60’000 - 80’000 p.a. from SSPH+ • 75’000 p.a. from SNF (ProDoc)

  3. Outlook after 2014 • PhD education = 3rd Bologna cycle = core activity of Universities • SUK money distributed to Universities to support inter-University PhD programs • Elaboration of proposal for continued financial support after 2014 with partners from all Universities with PhD students in Public Health, start beginning 2013 • ToT Seminar: Quality standards for (PhD) education?
