JEE Main 2016 Exam Pattern

There are two types of exams in JEE Main 2016, paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 is eligibility for B.E and B.Tech and paper 2 is eligibility for B.Planning and B.Arch. Paper 1 will be a both pen and paper and online examination while for paper 2 there is only a pen and paper exam. <br><br>For paper 1 objective type with equal weightage to physics, chemistry and mathematics will be asked. <br><br> In paper 2 there are 3 parts, part 1 will be mathematics with objective question, part 2 will be an aptitude with objective questions and part 3 will be a drawing test of aptitude. Time for both paper 1 and paper 2 exam is 3 hours. For paper 1 addition 3 hours will be allotted for online examination. A student can write both the paper 1 and paper 2.<br>
