How I Woke Up to the SupraConscious - and What It Taught Me About Purpose A Quiet Morning That Changed Everything The question that would not let go There was a morning when the question “Who am I, beneath who I perform to be?” refused to leave. I had been on stages and in classrooms, with scripts and studies, yet something deeper pressed in. Not a crisis. More like a clear bell behind the noise. Listening to the space within So I did what artists and scientists both do. I paid attention. I sat still. I watched breath, posture, and the subtle stories that rise when the mind loosens its grip. What came forward felt larger than self-help and more practical than mysticism. I called it the Supraconscious. It was not an idea I invented. It was a reality I finally agreed to meet.
What I Mean by “Supraconscious” Beyond the subconscious and the rational mind We live in layers. The rational mind organizes. The subconscious stores patterns. The Supraconscious witnesses both and offers direction that is quiet, precise, and surprisingly actionable. When you meet it, clarity lands not as a thought but as a steadiness in the body and a simple next step you trust. The triptych of body, soul, and spirit In my work, I speak of the triptych: body, soul, and spirit. It is not poetry. It is a framework for integration. When the triptych is harmonized, the actor becomes present, the leader becomes clear, and the parent becomes a calmer guide.
Where ego, subconscious, and Higher Self meet Ego is not the enemy. It is a role manager. The subconscious keeps the costume closet. The Higher Self directs. The Supraconscious is the stage where they can meet, respect each other, and co-create a truthful scene. From Stage to Self: The Birth of PAD Perceptual Acting and Directing in simple terms Perceptual Acting and Directing, or PAD, is my theory and method for living and performing with integrity. It treats life as a set of scenes and choices, and it trains you to shift perception on cue. You learn to feel your inner camera, widen or narrow the frame, and choose a lens that serves the moment. Seventeen years of cross-disciplinary research PAD did not arrive overnight. It grew from 17 years of research at the intersection of acting, neuroscience, and both Western and Eastern thought. It has been forged with dancers, scientists, teachers, executives, and artists in many settings. The goal is always the same: self- actualization that you can practice, measure, and keep. Why acting is a lab for human development Actors rehearse truth. That is why acting is a powerful lab for transformation. On stage you see how the body lies or tells the truth before the mouth does. You feel how breath changes thought, and thought changes story. When you take that sensitivity into “real life,” relationships become cleaner and purpose stops feeling abstract. Story: The Day a Student Found Her Voice The scene on stage A young actor came to class with a tight jaw and tighter lines. She could remember text, but her voice stayed small. We tried technique after technique. Nothing landed. Then we shifted to PAD. I asked her to change the lens from “perform well” to “tell the truth to one person I love.” Her shoulders dropped. She inhaled like it was the first honest breath all week. The shift in perception She spoke again. Same words, different world. The audience leaned forward. She was in her body, and her eyes were steady. She said later that something inside stopped asking for permission. She was not trying to be brave. She had switched directors from ego to Higher Self.
What changed in her life afterward Weeks later she reported a difficult conversation with her father that ended in real connection, not performance. Her work life improved because she stopped auditioning for approval in meetings. This is what I mean by practical spirituality. It shows up in the next scene of your life. E-E-A-T in Practice: Why You Can Trust This Work Experience you can feel My path began early. I wrote my first book at thirteen. Decades of teaching and performing shaped the Supraconscious You theory and my PAD methodology. The results are felt in rooms, not just read on pages. Expertise that blends science and wisdom traditions PAD integrates insights from quantum physics, psychology, NLP, meditation, empathy training, and the ancient Greek ethos value system. You do not need to adopt any belief. You need to practice simple steps and watch your nervous system respond. Authoritativeness earned through books, talks, and teaching I am the author of SUPRACONSCIOUS: The Genius Within You and The Universal Actor. My TEDx performance “Knowing Thyself: The Eternal Process” shares the heart of this work. My teaching spans universities, acting schools, educators, and executives. The method continues to evolve through mentorships, master classes, and collaborations. Trustworthiness through transparency and repeatable methods Nothing here is hidden. The exercises are clear. The outcomes are observable: better presence, steadier emotions, cleaner decisions, stronger relationships. You can test the work for yourself, and you should. The PAD Method: Five Practical Steps You Can Try Today Step 1: Ground in the body Sit or stand with both feet on the floor. Relax the jaw. Inhale for four, pause for two, exhale for six. Feel weight, temperature, and contact. This interrupts autopilot and invites the Supraconscious to surface. Step 2: Name the lens
Say out loud the lens you are wearing. Examples: “prove I am right,” “get through this fast,” or “tell the truth kindly.” Naming the lens gives you freedom to change it. Step 3: Rehearse your reality Actors rehearse lines. You can rehearse presence. Imagine the next scene in your day. See yourself breathing, listening, and responding from your Higher Self. Keep it short and specific. Step 4: Harmonize the triptych Scan body, soul, and spirit. Ask: What does my body need now, what is my soul feeling, and what is my spirit asking me to choose? Write a single sentence that honors all three. Step 5: Direct the next scene Make one micro-choice that matches the sentence. Send a message, schedule the call, or step outside for five minutes of sky. One action proves to your nervous system that the new direction is safe. How Purpose Emerges When You Stop Chasing It Purpose as a consequence, not a goal Purpose arrives as a by-product of alignment. When you harmonize the triptych and act from the Supraconscious, meaning stops hiding. You notice that what you do, how you do it, and why you do it begin to match. The three signals of alignment First, time feels different. You are less rushed and more precise. Second, relationships clarify. Some deepen, some release, and both feel honest. Third, energy returns. You are tired less from performance and more nourished by truth. Conscious Leadership and Creative Performance Leadership with presence, not performance anxiety Conscious leadership development is not a buzzword. It is leadership that listens before it speaks and chooses value over image. With PAD, leaders learn to switch out the lens of “manage perception” for “serve the mission.” Meetings shift. Outcomes improve. Emotional intelligence you can train
Emotional intelligence coaching often stays in the head. We bring it into the body. You learn to recognize the micro-tension that signals fear, then redirect attention to what matters. Teams notice. Trust builds. Mindfulness that moves, not just meditates Mindfulness for executives must function in motion. We train brief resets you can use between calls, in elevators, and on stage. Calm becomes portable. From Quantum Classrooms to Boardrooms Translating PAD for executives and teams What works for actors also works for analysts. Perception sets reality. We design programs that show teams how to reframe stress, turn conflict into creative friction, and rehearse for hard conversations. This is self mastery training, not theory on slides. Embodied transformation in real meetings We practice on your actual agenda. We pair neuroscience of acting with clear protocols for listening, turn-taking, and decision-making. Results include quicker alignment and fewer performative debates. Community, Belonging, and the Places We Grow What “mindful living community” can look like Change loves company. Whether in classrooms, studios, or retreats, community helps you practice new patterns. A mindful living community is one that prizes curiosity, creative work, and compassionate feedback. It values sustainable growth and the dignity of each person’s pace. Retreats that weave nature, creativity, and learning Retreats give you distance from noise so you can listen again. Imagine days that mix movement, writing, and quiet, with farm-to-table meals and time in nature. This is not escape. It is design for renewal. When you return, you bring the practices home. SEO-Friendly Guideposts for Your Own Search How to choose conscious living programs Look for programs that integrate body, mind, and spirit. Check that the methods are clear and doable in daily life. If a program uses terms like quantum consciousness training or neuroplasticity and personal growth, ask how those ideas translate into practice you can test. Finding personal transformation coaching that fits A good fit feels both safe and challenging. You should sense that your coach listens deeply and invites you to experiment, not just to adopt a belief. Ask about measurable outcomes and how you will review progress. Questions to ask before you invest 1. What skills will I practice each week? 2. How will we adjust the plan if I stall? 3. How will we know the work is transferring into my relationships, leadership, and creative life? A Personal Note on Craft and Care
Why I still study, rehearse, and revise daily I am a student first. I write, read, and train to keep this work honest. I test everything in my own life before I teach it. The goal is not perfection. It is presence. The promise I make to every student and client I will tell you the truth kindly. I will ask for your best without shaming your worst. I will keep refining the method so it stays clear, humane, and practical. Start Where You Are A seven-day micro-practice plan ●Day 1: Notice breath three times today. Label the lens you are wearing. ●Day 2: One relationship gets five extra minutes of fully present listening. ●Day 3: Move for ten minutes. Walk, stretch, or dance. Let the body lead. ●Day 4: Rewrite one scriptin your head from “I must” to “I choose.” ●Day 5: Name your scene for tomorrow. One sentence. One action. ●Day 6: Restore with silence and nature. Even ten minutes counts. ●Day 7: Reflect. Note three changes in mood, focus, or connection. How to know it is working You will not become a different person in a week. You will become a clearer version of yourself. Watch for ease in your chest, steadier eyes, and a kinder tone in hard moments. These are signs that the Supraconscious is no longer a concept. It is a companion. Connect and Continue the Journey Website, YouTube, and social platforms Explore more resources, articles, and programs on my site: supraconscious.co.
