  1. The Life Choices Of Sunil Galgotia Every student in life requires a mentor, a teacher, and a guide. The students of Galgotia University has found the experience of a mentor, the knowledge of a teacher and the vision of a guide in Mr. Sunil Galgotia, the founder of Galgotias University. He is recognized as an eminent personality in this decade. He founded Galgotias University in the year 2011, which offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and also provides many specialized courses to their students.

  2. Family history of Mr. Sunil Galgotia Mr. Sunil Galgotia was born in New Delhi in the year 1930. He was born in a family that had great admiration for books and his family also had a passion for creating a bookstore which will proudly showcase wide ranges of books on various subjects. Their goal was to create a haven of books for readers and book lovers. This dream was fulfilled by opening a small retail bookstore in Connaught Place. Their family named that bookstore E.D Galgotia and sons.

  3. Education Mr. Sunil Galgotia completed his primary and secondary education from St. Columba’s School from New Delhi, which was founded in the year 1941. He completed his graduation from Shri Ram College of Commerce, which is a premier institute in New Delhi for studying commerce.

  4. Career From his childhood he was managing a bookstore, so he already realized that his passion for books will create a prosperous career graph for him. He started his career in the early 1980s in the publishing venture. That was the first trial as an entrepreneur. He knew the importance of technology and so he collaborated technology with his business plan. He utilized the nascent computer boom with Indian and foreign authors, which became the stepping stone for his everlasting success. In the year 2000, he pursued his passion by leaping into the education industry. There he founded Galgotias Institute of Management and Technology, a premier institute of New Delhi which is training and creating a pool of skillful and industry specified engineers. With the initial success of GMIT, he also opened two more institutes known as Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) and Galgotias Business School (GBS), which are offering specialization in the field of Engineering and Management.
