Distinct Characteristics of Different Species in the Animal and Plant Kingdoms

This educational overview highlights the key characteristics that differentiate various species within the animal and plant kingdoms. Mammals are distinguished by having hair, live young, and the ability to produce milk. Plants are identified by chlorophyll and their capability of photosynthesis, while Monera and Protista include microbes visible only under a microscope. Reptiles and amphibians lay eggs and have distinct skin types, while fish and birds showcase unique adaptations, such as gas bladders in fish and feathers in birds. Lastly, the whimsical "platamoose" is an imaginative blend of a platypus and a moose.

Mammal because it gives milk to its young. #5. Birds because it has feathers. #6. Mammal because it gives birth to live young.
