  2. Crime Rate • 1,561 for homicide • Teen crime is regularly • Teen=suicide the 3rd leading cause of death • 1/11 attempt in suicide • 30% of teen are bullied or bullying • 33% of hs were involved in a fight within a year

  3. Crime type • Abuse • Bully • Suicide • Gang affiliation • Weapon wielder • Fight • Accident (crash)

  4. Offense impact • Arrested • Jail time • Court time • Lower self-esteem • Academically unresponsive • No college life • No job

  5. Aftermath • Teens can have desire to die • Teens behave more mischievous or miscellaneous • Teens give up on school • Teens go into a deep state of depression • Teens play criminal roles • Teens don’t care • Teens become careless

  6. Teen Struggle • Teens have to undergo their criminal life • Teens witness society’s disapproval • Teens witness parent’s disappointment • Teens struggle to gain hope • Teens struggle to understand life • Teens struggle to maintain sanity • Teens struggle to realize their wrong-doings

  7. Parent struggle • Parents must take half of the responsibility • Parents need to be held more accountable • Parents need to pay • Parents need to give son/daughter the look of disappointment • Parents go to jail in your place • Parents question where they went wrong in raising you

  8. Financial problems • Money decreases • Desire for financial stability is a primary • Financial responsibility • Paying of fine

  9. Society viewpoint • You are regarded as scum • You are considered a criminal • You are seen as irresponsible and reckless • You are no longer a “good person” • You are avoided • You are suggested for counseling/therapy
